Aventura is a tropical, cosmopolitan city located in north east of Miami. It evolved in the 1970’s after Turnberry Isle, a world-class luxury golf resort, spa and beach club, was constructed. At that time, the community that is now Aventura became synonymous with Turnberry, its prestigious waterfront property. This well-heeled resort community, the dazzling gem is located north east of Miami, incorporated in 1995 and has been referred to as Aventura ever since.

Turnberry Golf Course, located in the center of town, attracts resident and tourists to its famed course. Families enjoy passive and active recreation time at one of the many pristine parks such as Founder’s Park, Waterways Park and Veterans Park. Locals can be seen jogging the three mile picturesque route along Country Club Drive Circle, and enjoying the Arts at the Aventura Arts and Cultural Center.
