The closest airport to Cutler bay is the Miami International Airport (only 21 miles away), and there are plenty of hotels by the airport but if you would like to be closer to Cutler Bay, know in advance that there are not many hotels actually located in Cutler Bay, other than a Motel 6, Quality Inn, and La Quinta Inn and Suites (at least a step up from the other two). However there are several hotels within ten miles of Cutler Bay that you may want to check out including the Hotel Indigo, Marriot Miami, and a Courtyard Marriot all located in Dadeland. Close to Cutler Bay is the Everglades National Park and the Everglades Alligator Farm, you can spend an hour there or make a whole day of it. Picture flying above a sea of tall grass as you look for alligators, various species of birds, iguanas, and breathtaking plant life. You can also walk calmly down a twisting and turning boardwalk as you explore nature’s untouched marshes. After that if you want to get your adrenaline pumping again you can always go watch the alligator feeding. Not to be missed is Biscayne National Park – a little ways away, but well worth the trip. Come see a play or performance art piece, the events cater to people of all ages and may turn that one resisting family member into a frequent visitor of the theater. Other destinations not to be missed are the tantalizing Fruit and Spice Park and last but not least the Coral Castle. Coral Castle is an amazing sculpture garden, crafted by Edward Leedskainin. Reminiscent of Stonehenge or the ancient pyramids, from 1923-1951 Edward crafted these amazing and sometimes massive sculptures in secret out of over a thousand tons of coral. To this day no one quite knows how he did it. Pretty impressive Ed! I wish you the best of luck on your vacation and I hope you find this guide to be helpful. Cutler Bay, Florida has a lot to offer, be sure to leave enough time to take in everything.
