In November, Miami comes to life with amazing live music and sweet deals on local entertainment during MIAMI LIVE MONTH. From concerts and dance performances to comedy shows and poetry readings, live entertainment throughout Miami and the Beaches is available for the taking at a special price.
This month long, celebration of Miami music and entertainment is put together by The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and sponsored by the MasterCard Priceless Miami program. It was designed to increase awareness of the thriving live music scene to visitors and locals alike, and ultimately get people dancing their way through the holiday season.
The event kicks off Saturday, November 2 with two exciting events. Stanley Clarke & the Harlem String Quartet will combine cutting-edge classical with sizzling jazz at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center. The Grammy®-winning bassist, producer and composer Stanley Clarke once again expands the realm of his music in this excursion with the award-winning Harlem String Quartet. Their debut at the 2012 Montreal Jazz Festival was a crowd favorite. Time: 8:00 p.m.
If jazz is not really your thing, you can always join a foodie paradise and partake in the Bon Appétit Grub Crawl. Taste some of the hottest dishes Miami’s best restaurants have to offer along with live performances at Miami Beach and the Design District.
