U.S. Century Bank has been named to Newsweek magazine’s America’s Best Regional Banks and Credit Unions 2025 which recognizes the top 500 regional banks and top 500 credit unions in the U.S. With $2.5 billion in assets, U.S. Century Bank is one of the largest community banks headquartered in Miami and the state of Florida.
To compile this list, Newsweek collaborated with market data research firm Plant-A Insights Group and examined all regional banks and credit unions across the U.S., roughly 9,170 institutions. They reviewed several indicators of long-term stability, including profitability, creditworthiness, and healthy lending capacity. They also reviewed press coverage over the past two years, an independent customer survey of more than 71,000 U.S. citizens, 1.9 million social media reviews, and 129 million Apple App and Google Play store reviews.
Only banks and credit unions that ranked in the top 50th percentile of scorers within their respective headquarters states were included in the list of ranked institutions.
“This recognition is a testament to the turnaround and growth we’ve seen as we’ve met our strategic goals,” stated Luis de la Aguilera, chairman, president and CEO of U.S. Century Bank. “We remain committed to our community and will continue to provide clients with the exceptional service they have come to expect from us.”
