Hialeah, FL – April 2025 — Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus is proud to announce its official designation as a STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction) Center, strengthening its role as a life-saving destination for emergency heart care in the South Florida community.
This designation recognizes the hospital’s ability to deliver fast, specialized treatment to patients experiencing severe heart attacks. STEMI is a dangerous type of heart attack caused by a complete blockage in a coronary artery, requiring immediate intervention to restore blood flow and minimize heart damage.
