When you support nonprofit organizations you will be helping so many wonderful causes, enriching the community and helping citizens that are less fortunate.

Dade Heritage Trust was founded in 1972 as a nonprofit organization for the preservation of architectural, environmental and cultural heritage through education, advocacy and restoration. They are the leading voice for historic preservation in Miami-Dade County. The original office of Dr. James M. Jackson who was an early pioneer in 1905 was restored as their first project and has been maintained as a museum and preservation center ever since. The successful restoration and re-lighting of the 1825 Cape Florida Lighthouse on Key Biscayne that re-opened in 1996 was a major accomplishment for Dade Heritage Trust. They have sponsored Dade Heritage Days for the past 27 years with over 100 different events that runs for eight weeks to celebrate Miami’s Cultural and Environmental heritage. Tours, folklife festivals, architectural lectures, boat trips, commemorative services and student activities seek to unite Miami-Dade’s multi ethnic, diverse community through a shared appreciation of the unique heritage of Miami.
