Brickell Avenue and Mary Brickell Village are sibling communities with very different personalities. Brickell Avenue, the financial district of Miami, is a section of US1 that crosses Miami River connecting Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove with Downtown Miami. It is punctuated by high rise office buildings housing international banks, law firms, multinational corporations and brokerage firms. It is known as Miami’s center for commerce with abundant class “A” office space, populated by young, upwardly-mobile entrepreneurs and executives who enjoy a luxurious lifestyle with a decidedly international flair.

Just west of Brickell Avenue lies a village, Mary Brickell Village, a relaxed environment complete with shady, tree-lined streets dotted with charming cafes, unique boutiques and trendy bars best known for Miami’s well- attended happy hours. Mary Brickell Village offers visitors and executives a respite from the bustling, corporate climate present on Brickell Avenue. It features events year round including a weekly Sunday market selling locally-made art, crafts and native plants.
Events on Brickell Avenue such as the ING Corporate Run, Taste of Brickell Food and Wine Festival, and the St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival offer residents and visitors year round entertainment.
Both Brickell Avenue and Mary Brickell Village are pedestrian-friendly communities where walking and bicycling are commonplace. Public transportation is well utilized by both villages which are served by the Brickell Biscayne Trolley, Metrorail and the Metromover. Both communities border Downtown Miami and are just west of Key Biscayne and north of Coconut Grove.
