The City of Doral is mostly represented by a Christian community, but there is a population that practices Eastern religions as well as Islam and Judaism. The Christian worship services available to residents are bilingual or solely in Spanish. The following are some of the worship centers in Doral.
Iglesia Doral Jesus Worship Center offers three, all-Spanish worship services. Their services incorporate high-energy music. They also offer the School of Ministry Jesus Worship Center where students are prepared for leadership and discipling. Casa de Alabanza began in 1981 in Miami, and its high-energy salsa praise music provided an irresistible environment for many looking for the Good News of the Gospel. Today, the church gathers in Doral and is currently completing construction of a new facility. Their bilingual service is on Sundays. Mi Casa de Adoracion offers services in Spanish, and they have an English service for the youth. Ministerio Casa de Poder Internacional is an evangelical church pastored by Rigoberto Bernal, who has served as pastor for over 30 years.
Doral Vineyard is a Christian church focused on revival, prayer, worship, teaching and outreach. Their services are in English with simultaneous translation in Spanish through radios for those who would like them.
Divine Savior Lutheran Church is a “conservative” Lutheran church, believing in the unerring Word of God and the Church’s responsibility to teach the Bible and live according to it. It has two services on Sunday that focus on worship, incorporating prayer, hymns, and a sermon.
Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Catholic church ministering to the Doral community. They meet for mass and confession at Doral Academy High School.
Chabad Jewish Center of Doral, directed by Rabbi Avrohom and Zeldie Brashevitzky, is part of the international Chabad Lubavitch organization, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and dedicated to serving Jewish communities. Chabad Jewish Center of Doral provides Shabbat Services, holiday celebrations, women’s group and Judaism classes in an inclusive environment. Light Kiddush follows services. Hebrew and English Prayer books are available.
There are no mosques in the Doral area.
Other places of worship of other faiths include Sadhu Vaswani Satsang Center and Sai Baba Temple, which are Hindu temples. The Sai Baba Temple is a peaceful and meditative temple run by an Indian couple who are sometimes singing bhajans. Usually, those that attend come to pray and then leave.
There are many smaller churches is the City of Doral, mostly evangelical churches. These usually take advantage of the warehouses available in the area or in the various shopping centers in Doral.
