Baptist Rehabilitation Center began the first private inpatient rehabilitation program in 1976 in Miami-Dade County as its commitment to excellence, and provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and children. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited Baptist Hospital in the following programs, inpatient and outpatient stroke programs, inpatient and outpatient brain injury, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation. The Commission currently accredits more than 35,000 rehabilitation facilities in Europe, Canada and the United States and is a private not-for-profit organization.
