Downtown Miami has everything you ever dreamed of and its restaurants are definitely the highlight.  An exquisite way to begin your culinary journey is at the upscale IL Gabiano restaurant.  In addition to their fantastic menu, this restaurant offers an inviting warm and relaxing atmosphere with a spectacular view and lots of personal attention.  Il Gabiano is certainly worthy of the experience.  Celebrities and business entrepreneurs are regulars at this one of a kind Italian restaurant.  Branzino Al Forno and the Carpaccio di Manzo are amongst my absolute favorite items on their menu.  Toro Toro is an exquisite place for your taste buds to explode without having to travel all the way to Dubai.  Toro Toro’s menu is full of unique flavors and is located inside the Intercontinental Hotel.  This sophisticated restaurant has the perfect atmosphere and lounge for entertaining.  If you’re in the mood for a great French bistro, db Bistro Moderne has a very nice menu and a lovely rack of lamb as well as many other items to tantalize your culinary senses.  Area 31’s Tuna tartar and sweet potato soup are absolutely fabulous and they happen to have incredible gluten free items on their diner menu.  Scalina Ristorante is very romantic and a wonderful place for true authentic Italian food and the ambience creates a feeling of being in Venice.  Scalina’s mouthwatering menu tempts for many-a-visit as you will find one visit just won’t suffice.  From their Mussels and Clams Safron to the Lemon Sole, Scalina has many of my all-time favorite dishes from around the world that are sure to tease your every taste bud.  Another great Italian restaurant is Fratelli Milano which is family owned and operated.  With Twin brothers Roberto and Emanuele Bearzi’s passion for real authentic Italian flavors, Fratelli Milano brings Milan right to you.  For the undecided patrons, Miami Chop House’s international menu offers seafood, tapas & mezze, a sushi bar and some of the best steak cuts in Miami.  Miami Chop House has a full bar, a wide selection of local and imported cheeses and some of the best wines around.  Goat cheese, Stone crabs, tempuras, vegetarian specialties and more are all found at Truluck’s seafood, steak and crab house.  I just love those Oyster Rockefellers! Aside from a fantastic wine selection, Trulucks after diner drink selection will leave you feeling like royalty.  A favorite casual spot for feel good, wholesome food in the heart of downtown Miami is found at Granny Feelgood’s.  Granny Feelgood’s makes their homemade chicken soup and mashed potatoes just like the one Grandma used make. You are sure to feel right at home with their warm-hearted delights.  Downtown is full of great choices in restaurants for those who are on the go as well as those who prefer to savor the moment with great company and great food.  For a full directory, click here.
