Population has exploded in Downtown Miami in the past decade thanks in large part to the urban revitalization and the building boom of the early 2000’s .It has seen revitalization in its cultural landscape as well with the addition of the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and the current construction of the Miami Science Museum and Miami Art Museum. Multi-use parks, state-of-the-art sporting facilities, universities, government offices, hotels, Miami Jewelry District, Port Of Miami, street vendors, and shops and businesses housed in 19th century buildings collectively contribute to a feverishly-paced, vibrant downtown scene.
