The Chamber South mission statement is to maintain a leadership role in the community through programs, services and events that will enhance the quality of life and economic well being of South Miami, Kendall, Cutler Bay, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay and the Greater South Dade area. Their link between the quality of life and the thriving business community is undeniable. Without jobs, there is no commerce. Without commerce, there is an erosion of education, recreation, families, the arts and public safety. Chamber South strives to improve the quality of life of the area residents by working to improve business conditions. It is the strong belief of the Chamber that business must be successful for the community to flourish as a whole. Chamber South has a responsibility to help its members and communities thrive.
Chamber committees include the Wellness committee, Trustee committee, Tech-Knowledge-E committee, Small Business committee, not for profit committee, military affairs committee, governmental affairs committee, education and Business Coalition Committee and the Ambassador committee.
Throughout the year, Chamber South holds a wide variety of events such as the Chairman’s Reception and Silent Auction, Military Affairs Committee events, sponsorship and marketing opportunities, the Business EXPO, the South Miami Art Festival and much more.
