Yajaira Morell – A Rising Star in Miami’s Insurance & Networking Industry

Protection is more than a policy—it’s a promise to be there when it matters most.
– Yajaira Morell

In Miami—a city that pulses with opportunity—being called a “Rising Star” is more than a compliment. It’s a signifier of excellence, ambition, and a future that shines bright. Rising Stars are young professionals who’ve already made a mark and are only getting started. They’re leaders who don’t just work in their industries—they transform them.
Yajaira Morell is exactly that kind of leader.

Building Protection with Passion: Yajaira’s Insurance Journey
Licensed since 2001, Yajaira holds both her 215 and 200 insurance licenses and has amassed over two decades of experience helping others in their moments of greatest need. What sets her apart is her unwavering passion for protecting people—whether it’s their home, car, payroll, or business. She started with residential coverage, but today she focuses heavily on commercial insurance for construction companies and medium-sized businesses.
Yajaira thrives in environments where trust matters. Her clients don’t just get an agent; they get an advocate who walks them through complex issues and offers clarity during chaos. She works with businesses of all sizes and offers bundled protection across various lines—residential, benefits, payroll, commercial auto, general liability, and more.
She doesn’t believe in cookie-cutter policies. Instead, she asks questions, listens intently, and designs coverage that reflects each client’s unique needs.

Leadership Rooted in Community Engagement
But her influence stretches far beyond client accounts. Yajaira serves as the Chair of the Small Business Committee at Chamber South and a Chapter Success Coach, roles that allow her to actively empower entrepreneurs and small business owners across Miami.
Through public speaking engagements and networking events, she connects like-minded professionals and helps foster business growth in South Florida. She is known for her warmth, approachability, and ability to create meaningful relationships that lead to real results.

Looking Ahead: A Future Fueled by Empowerment
When asked about her 10-year vision, Yajaira doesn’t hesitate: “I want to help others succeed in business and speak publicly to inspire them.” Her desire to motivate others isn’t just a future goal—it’s something she practices every day. Whether mentoring at the Chamber or speaking with a first-time business owner, she empowers those around her to believe in their potential.
Her dream is to become a go-to source for insight, connection, and mentorship across South Florida’s business ecosystem. And given her track record, it’s not a matter of if—it’s a matter of when.

“The best way to predict the future is to create it.” — Peter Drucker
This quote echoes perfectly in Yajaira’s journey. Her career wasn’t handed to her—it was crafted through consistency, care, and an unshakable belief that she could make a difference.
She didn’t wait for the perfect opportunity; she created value through service. She didn’t wait for someone to ask her to lead; she stood up and led. Each step in her career reflects Drucker’s wisdom: she is shaping her future with intentionality and heart.
Her passion for helping people in crisis, her skill in building protection plans, and her drive to connect others in the community are all bricks in the foundation of the future she’s building.
In Yajaira’s world, insurance isn’t just business—it’s purpose-driven work that touches lives.

Takeaway: Leading Through Service and Connection
Yajaira Morell is proof that leadership isn’t about titles; it’s about action. She leads by example—serving others, protecting what matters most, and helping small businesses grow. Her ability to listen, connect, and elevate others is what truly makes her a Rising Star.

Amavita Heart and Vascular Health™ Elevates Quality Standards and Achieves ‘Center of Excellence Status’  for Clinical Research in the Cardiovascular Field

Amavita Heart and Vascular Health™ Elevates Quality Standards and Achieves ‘Center of Excellence Status’  for Clinical Research in the Cardiovascular Field
Miami, Florida, USA and Maidenhead, United Kingdom, 13 March, 2025 – Amavita Research Services LLC (the research arm of Amavita Heart and Vascular HealthTM), a leading clinical research organization, is proud to announce it has successfully achieved the GCSA Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites. This milestone certification follows the recent success of  Amavita’s Principal Investigator, Pedro Martinez Clark, who recently achieved the QM-IAOCR Internationally Qualified Clinical Research Investigator Accreditation standard. This further reinforces the organization’s commitment to operating at the highest international standards.
To secure both quality standards, Amavita Research has undergone a rigorous evidence-based assessment of their site’s business operational processes that underpin the delivery of world-class clinical trials (for GCSA) and for the individual staff accreditation, robust assessment of the core role-specific competencies for Clinical Research Investigators. This achievement underscores Amavita Research’s dedication to embedding and maintaining best practices in clinical trial management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. This joint achievement provides reassurance to sponsors, CROs, staff and ultimately the patients, that trial sites have been independently assessed against robust global quality standards and that research is in safe hands. It also provides a solid platform for Amavita Research’s continued growth, based on the solid foundations of independently quality assured best-practice processes.
“We are thrilled to receive the GCSA site certification, which is a testament to our team’s dedication to conducting clinical trials with the highest standards of quality and integrity,” explains Pedro Martinez-Clark, founder and medical director at Amavita Research. “This achievement not only validates our efforts but also enhances the confidence and trust of our sponsors and participants in the research we conduct and positions us as a research center of excellence in the cardiovascular field.”
The GCSA Certification is the world’s only internationally recognised quality standard and certification developed specifically for clinical trial sites. It recognizes sites that have demonstrated excellence across the critical business operational areas that underpin the delivery of world-class patient and sponsor experiences across the end-to-end clinical trials pathway. By meeting the specific criteria across seven key areas – ranging from feasibility and study start-up to patient engagement and governance — Amavita Research has demonstrated its ability to provide the highest quality and efficiency in clinical research.
“Amavita Research are a professional team, and it is clear from working with them through the GCSA certification that they have implemented a suite of clear working processes to support the efficient and successful running of their clinical trials,” summarizes Colette Donaghy, director of and assessment, IAOCR and GCSA.
Both IAOCR and GCSA use comprehensive assessment frameworks that have been developed with and ratified by Industry experts. The GCSA Global Quality Standard for Clinical Research Sites was developed with the support of a Global Advisory Board of key stakeholders and experts from across the industry. IAOCR’s accreditation standards for clinical research professionals are built with international taskforces with role-specific subject-matter experts. In addition to the IAOCR Investigator Accreditation, all seven areas of the GCSA quality standard were met which included: Feasibility; Study Start-up & Initiation; Patient Engagement; Study Management, Operations & Close Down; Governance; Site Business Strategy and Workforce Quality.
Whilst clinical research is a highly regulated industry, until recently with the introduction of GCSA, there have been no established standards by which sites can demonstrate that they are able to meet the expectations of sponsors, CROs and patients, and no way for sponsors or CROs to select clinical research sites based on clear quality standards which have been independently assessed at the organizational level. GCSA sets this much-needed industry standard for research sites to strive for and achieve; it allows sites to evidence and communicate their capabilities and differentiate in a crowded and increasingly competitive marketplace. Beyond the assessment and certification process, where required, GCSA will deliver individual, practical support on the areas for development to meet the standards and will work collaboratively with sites to achieve certification.

A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships

Success is not about being the biggest. It is about creating space for others to grow with you.
-Wilson Alvarez

A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships: Miami’s Business Success Through Collaboration
Success is not just about one person or one company. It is about building an ecosystem where everyone thrives. In Miami, business owners, entrepreneurs, and leaders are realizing that working together creates more opportunities for everyone.
This idea is not new. President John F. Kennedy popularized the phrase “A rising tide lifts all ships” to explain how economic growth benefits everyone, not just a select few. In business, this means that when one company grows, it creates ripples that strengthen the entire industry.
Miami has become a hub of innovation, trade, and culture. But no business succeeds in isolation. Entrepreneurs who understand this build strong networks, support local businesses, and invest in the community. The result? A city where businesses not only survive but thrive.
The Power of Community in Business
Miami’s business community is built on relationships. Deals are made over cafecito, partnerships form at networking events, and new ventures emerge from simple conversations.
When companies support each other, they open doors to new opportunities. A restaurant sources ingredients from a local farm. A marketing agency collaborates with a tech startup. A real estate firm works with local contractors instead of outsourcing. These small choices create economic waves that benefit the entire region.
Collaboration Creates Growth
Businesses that compete can still coexist and grow together. A local boutique and an online store may seem like competitors, but they can partner for cross-promotions. A law firm can refer clients to an accounting firm, and both will gain.
The tech sector in Miami has seen this firsthand. Startups and investors have created an ecosystem where innovation flourishes. Programs like eMerge Americas bring together professionals from different industries, creating a support system for businesses to scale.
When companies work together instead of against each other, they expand the market, create jobs, and improve the local economy. This is the real impact of a rising tide.
Leadership That Lifts Others
Great leaders understand that helping others does not diminish their own success. In Miami, some of the most respected business leaders are those who mentor young entrepreneurs, invest in local startups, and give back to the community.
Mentorship, sponsorship, and collaboration create a culture of success. When one leader shares their knowledge, they help build the next generation of successful business owners.
Why It Matters Now More Than Ever
Miami’s economy is growing fast. The city is attracting investors, startups, and global corporations. But for this growth to be sustainable, businesses must continue investing in relationships, partnerships, and community development.
The strongest economies are those where businesses lift each other up. When small businesses succeed, they create jobs. When corporations thrive, they invest more in the local economy.
The Wisdom of Working Together
As Andrew Carnegie once said, “The secret of success lies not in doing your own work, but in recognizing the right person to do it.”
This applies to businesses in Miami today. The most successful leaders understand that collaboration, not isolation, drives growth. When one business rises, it creates opportunities for others to rise with it.
The Future is Built on Partnerships
Miami’s economy is strongest when businesses work together. Whether through mentorship, partnerships, or community investments, lifting others leads to greater success for all.
If we want a thriving business environment, we must support and uplift one another. This is how Miami’s business community will continue to grow.
Join the Movement
If you are a business leader, entrepreneur, or startup, find ways to support others in your industry. Build partnerships, mentor new professionals, and invest in your community.
Success is not a solo journey. When we work together, we all rise.
