As a result of the gift, a section of the hospital lobby was officially named the “Elena A. Miranda Marketplace.”
This generous $500,000 contribution will directly benefit the Patient Assistance Fund, which provides financial support to families whose children face life-threatening medical conditions. Moreover, it ensures that those who cannot access public funding or afford treatment on their own still receive lifesaving care.

The Mission Behind the Elena A. Miranda Foundation
The Elena A. Miranda Foundation was established in 2023 by Carlos Fausto Miranda, principal of Fausto Commercial, in memory of his late sister Elena.
