The Rocky Horror Picture Show has become synonymous with “cult cinema” as the longest continuously running film in the world. For almost 40 years, it has played throughout the country at endless midnight showings, especially around Halloween.
Some might ask, what is the secret of Rocky Horror’s appeal? Perhaps it is the thrill of mingling with kinky kindred spirits, the fun of being part of a performance without having to be on-stage, or maybe it is because it takes you outside the normal humdrum movie experience. Whatever the reason, this freaky Saturday night flick will surely draw many people, so reserve your tickets quickly.
The Actors Playhouse will be screening free movies once a month throughout their entire 2013 – 2014 season with vintage films on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.
While the movie screenings are free, you need tickets to attend. You can get your free movie tickets here. Popular films may sell out in advance, so you may want to order early.
